Different Types of Printers

!±8± Different Types of Printers

When shopping for printers you are faced with a few different types on the market.

Inkjet - Inkjet printers are very popular because they offer high quality whilst being low priced. They come in many different varieties from consumer models to expensive professional models.

Laser - Laser printers produce high quality prints at good speeds. They cost more than injets and therefore are not very popular with home users but they are excellent in the office. Laser printers use the same technology as photo copiers.

All in one - All in one printers that combine a laser or inkjet, copier, scanner and a fax in one compact package have become popular lately as their quality has gotten better. All in one printers are suited for small offices that contain one or two workers or a home office but in larger offices dedicated machines will be better. This is especially true if one component breaks down meaning everything else stops working.

Photo Printer - If you intend to print a lot of photos then a photo printer is the way to go. An inkjet is fine with printing photos but the quality produced by a photo printer is much superior although not as good as professional development. On some models you can actually print straight from your camera without having to switch on your PC.

There has never been a better time for printers. There are so many models available on the market to suit every budget you will find one to suit you and your pocket.
